Passion for Rome Day 1

Ciao darlings! Sorry for the lack of posts lately, but for those who follow me on Instagram have gotten a glimpse of my trip to Italy where my first stop was Rome, followed by Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. Upon my return to Athens, I enjoyed a few more days of holiday with my other half at the Astir Palace Resort. Unfortunately all good things come to an end paving a way for new, unknown paths that are still waiting to be discovered. Now heading back to the subject of my Italian travel diary: for the first time in my life I decided to travel light and I loved it! The result of a carefully coordinated wardrobe, with no extras meant that for once in my life I did not have to drag around a huge suitcase, and it worked out perfectly fine.

I have been to Rome in the past, so this time was a sort of an in and out situation, just to refresh my memory, soak in the beauty of the Fontana Di Trevi, flip a coin for good luck, try a few Roman gelatos (for those who followed my gelato quest know what I am on about), by chance end up visiting the exhibition of Frida Kahlo (unfortunately no pictures were allowed) which was a truly remarkable experience since I have always been fond of her artistic skills, ending the first night in a great prosciutteria known as the La Prosciutteria. This place was first founded in Florence and has recently opened in Rome, so if you are a fan of cozy little places where you can try all sorts of wine and the famous Italian prosciutto, then you are definitely going to appreciate this place. Stay tuned for more travels and tips. Until next time, enjoy! xoxo ES

Passion for Do it with PASSION

I am a firm believer of a saying “Do it with Passion or Not At All!” A lot of the times this may mean that you will have to work even harder, stay focused while not earn that much, however you will find that peace of mind, a balance that will lead the way to a much happier and healthier life. There is nothing worse than having to wake up each morning and dread the day because you are doing something that is killing you day by day and you become the victim of your own misery, I have been there and have done that. Doesn’t matter how much money you make, if you hate your job, you will never be satisfied. This is why my friends I have decided to put the past behind and set a goal to create my Dream Job that I will be passionate about. With this in mind the Passion for … #PASSION hoodie was born! I will be pursuing one of my greatest passions which is Travel, next week so for those who are not following me on Instagram yet, I invite you to join my travel updates on @ElenaSerg. Until next time, I will miss you but I will be back. xoxo ES

Passion for BOY meets GIRL

I bet you have been hearing a lot about the new smart/casual. But what is it exactly? I will tell you my friends; it is the art of dressing up casual denim and the swapping of the fancy-schmancy gowns for a perfect pair of skinny or boyfriend jeans! Pairing it with the right blazer, to-die-for accessories and you are surely to make an entrance. This is the philosophy of Dress Me Up, Dress Me Down effect. You can wear any jeans you like, skinny, boyfriend-style you name it, whatever makes you feel comfortable. Don’t be shy and add a little accent to your top/blouse. I have picked to wear a simple t-shirt decorated with stones which makes it look like I am wearing a statement necklace. Don’t be scared to experiment! Until next time. xoxo ES

Passion for Denim Fever

Denim Fever! A perfect way to describe this all time classic which has remained a definite must in everyone’s wardrobe as its versatility and texture provides maximum comfort and glamour. It can make you look effortlessly chic in any situation. Now the “twin thing” is looking popular this season so try to co-ordinate your outfits. I remember how fashion used to be in the past that when you buy one item you must get a two piece otherwise you will totally be out of line. Now it’s all about the art of mixing textures, colours, materials, you name it! Sometimes you look at an outfit and think to yourself “wow” do these things actually match?! And yet they do, and this is what is known as pulling it off. Now back to mix and matching combos, yes they are a real style statement! I went deep into my wardrobe, back to the past and pulled out my co-ordinates! My advice to you, keep your key-pieces as you never know when you might need them. Until next time, let’s wow them with your mixing efforts. xoxo ES

Passion for Sexy Back

Happy 1st of April to all my lovely followers! Hope that this month brings you everything your hearts desire. For my first look of the month I choose this simple, sexy back as the title implies sheer blouse, keeping everything minimal with a touch of leopard print. I picked up this blouse on my last trip to New York, I loved the see through lace detail and the leather collar, making it not your ordinary blouse. Do share your thoughts on this editorial! Rania and I like to get creative. Until next time, big kiss to you all. xoxo ES
